Menagerie is here because publishing doesn’t provide adequate space for independent voices to flourish. Because support doesn’t mean throwing money at problems until they go away. Menagerie began as a collaboration between two friends who dreamed up a magazine one night in Seattle. Since then it’s evolved into a platform for launching authors, a community for writers, and now, a book publisher. Just like you, we’re still evolving. Who knows what our final form will be?
